Linkages
(1) what are the linkages the institution has with university/ research institutions/ industries/ NGOs for research and extension?
The college has no formal linkage with any other institution for research or extension.
For our placement programme, khedut shibir, gram shibir and extension work we have informal agreements with following institutions:
(i) Almost all B.R.S. colleges of Gujarat.
(ii) Junagadh agriculture university, janagadh.
(iii) Navasari agricultures university, navasari.
(iv) All district co-operative milk producers union ltd.(dairies)
(v) District co-operative banks
(vi) NGOs
(vii) Secondary and higher-secondary schools
(viii) Gram pachnyatas of nearby villages
(ix) Forest department of Gujarat state
(x) Horticulture society-gujarat
(xi) Agriculture co-operative societies
(xii) Pesticide and seed companies
(xiii) Department of animal husbanray- government of Gujarat
(2) How does the linkage promote?
(a) Curriculum development:
(i) Through the placement programme of final year B.R.S students, we invite their suggestions about the students. Their knowledge, efficiency, subject content, practical approach, regularity etc.
(ii) Their suggestions are executed and justified by college authority and required changes in the syllabus are then made through the university authority.

(i) Different extension activities are performed in collaboration with number of agencies, NGOs, governments institutions.
(ii) informal linkage with others makes our activity more reachable and effective to the interior rural people.

(i) The institution’s strong relation with different NGOs agro-industries, companies, etc. provides effective placement of the students soon after graduation.
(ii) Many times such companies arrange recruitment interviews on the college campus too.
(iii) The graduates already serving in different institutes also suggest our institution for their further requirements of the rural graduates.
(2) What measures have been taken by the institution to enhance the quality of research , consultancy and extension during the last five years?
To enhance quality of consultancy and extension following measures were taken:
(i) Before the year 2001,all the institutional activities were carried out under head of single executive committee. Since then the institution has dispersed them into sixteen committee to perform various functions more effectively.
(ii) Each committee is advised to organize at least one programme in a year.
(iii) Few newer laboratory equipment is purchased by the institution for better consultancy services.
(iv) All extension activities are well distributed along with the academic calendar without disturbing the teaching work.
