Manpower planning and recruitment

(1) How are the staffs recruited? Illustrate the process.

Members of the faculty are selected on the following ways;

Recruitment of the teaching staff is as per the rules of saurashtra university (and as per the norms of UGC). The teachers are recruited through advertisement and the subsequent interview method. Vacancies are created as per the work load calculated for the academic year. Our college gives advertisement for the various teaching and non-teaching vacancies in reputed daily news papers.

  • (1) The college wants to prepare/ make such brilliant student by providing value based and employment oriented education so that through education the student can help in the development of society and nation.
  • (2) To introduce/ present website of college having information and details about the same, to publicized it.
  • (3) To equip the students with computer training and to provide the facility of computer also to the faculty for teaching, learning and research.
  • (2) How is the need for staff recruitment assessed?

    Need for the staff recruitment is assessed as per the work load distribution considering particular subject frame in the syllabus.

    (3) What percentage of faculty who are qualified from other institutions and other states recruited?

    None of the faculty member is recruited form other institutions and\or other state.

    (4) what is the ratio of teachers to non-teaching staff?

    The ratio of teachers to non-teaching staff is 1:1.
