Perspective planning
(1) Does the institution have a perspective plan for institutional evelopment? How the various constituencies are involved in the process of planning?
Yes.
(1) The college wants to prepare/ make such brilliant student by providing value based and employment oriented education so that through education the student can help in the development of society and nation.
(2) To introduce/ present website of college having information and details about the same, to publicized it.
(3) To equip the students with computer training and to provide the facility of computer also to the faculty for teaching, learning and research.
(2) Does the institution follow an academic calendar? How effective is prepared?
Yes. It is prepared effectively considering time, holidays, physical facilities and resources available in the college during the academic year.
(3) Specify the number of plan proposals (a) initiated (b) implemented during the last five years.
All the resolutions made by the management council are implemented.
(4) How is the administration decentralized? Illustrate the organization chart?
Two plan proposals are sanctioned under tenth plan of UGC viz.,
(1) College development plan proposal
(2) Information network resource center.
(5) Does the institution have an effective interval coordination monitoring mechanism? If yes,specify.
Yes.
1. For monitoring of campus infrastructure, we have formed an infrastructure and monitoring committee which looks after all the infrastructural facilities on the campus.
2. For academic and administrative co-ordination the institute has formulated executive committee. The executive committee has further formulated sixteen other committees in which at least one member is delegated from an executive committee and in this way all institutional activities are being coordinated.
(6) How many times do the management and staff meet in academic year?
The management meets the staff twice in a year, in the beginning of each term.
(7) what are the major issues discussed in the last meeting.
Major issues discussed in the last meeting are as under
(1) To introduce/open the website of our college with basic information in detail about the college.
(2) To participate in NAAC evaluation.
(3) To hold any saurashtra University inter collegiate tournament on our campus and for that, proposal should be made to the vice chancellor to grant permission.
(8) How many of the management council resolutions are implemented?
All the resolutions made by the management council are implemented.
