Promotion of Research

(1) Is there a research committee to facilitate and monitor research activity ?

No we do not have research committee but our institution promotes student to undergo the actual research process. Each student is compelled by their syllabus, to prepare a research project and to carry out the survey or actual research work on the field. We do not bother about the outcome but do take care about the actual underlying process of the project.

(2) How does the institution promote faculty participation in research?

Primary survey or research project is compulsory for M.R.S. (P.G.) students for following five main subjects. The advisor for main subject’s project is given below.

Teachers are given duty leave for participation in various research conferences, seminars and workshops.
(3) What provision is made in the budget for research and development ?

No special budget is provided for research and development students’ minor research projects are generally funded partly form their laboratory fees and partly from students own fund.

(4) Does the institution promote participation of students in research through the academic program?

All students should study a paper as a part of their syllabus named “Research and Project” during final year B.R.S. as their main paper no-11. The practical portion of this paper is an exercise of research or project work.

(5) What are the major research facilities developed and available on the campus?

We do not have special facilities for research work.

(6) Does the institution subscribe to research journals for reference as per the different departmental requirement?

The institution subscribes sixteen research journals as per the need of different subjects.
